[Aw yiss. Somewhere along the line, Jaime discovered that his armor was finally working again. Complete with the crabby voice that came with it. To take advantage of it, he's been walking and/or flying around with it on all day, perhaps to keep an eye out for anyone else...and to maybe show off to his Heracross a bit because, hey! They match.

Speaking of, if anyone happens to be outside Violet City, or just has their Pokegear on, they might notice someone, wearing some unusual blue armor, suddenly letting a Heracross out of a Pokeball, followed by a Turtwig good measure...both who look kind of confused, then hostile in a matter of seconds.]

Woah. Don't worry guys. It's--wait, no calm down!

[Things seemed to be okay until they saw what he looked like. Springing the armor on them like that was probably a really bad idea, as they're seconds away from attacking, which then provokes his armor to activate one of its weapons.]

No--wait!! [...] Don't vaporize them! They're friends! Friends!

[Just as he's trying to deactivate his armor, who's currently still shouting at him and trying to attack, Turtwig tackles him, followed by Heracross.]

Stop! Guys, it's me!! I'm just wearing--

[This goes on several minutes, and the feed even loses focus a couple of times before Jaime's able to revert back to his normal self and calm his Pokemon down. Secret identity what is that?]

Okay. Yeah. Never doing that again. [A beat.] No, it would not have been preferable to use the sonic lasers!

[Yep. He's now safe and unarmed and also trapped under Heracross, who thought the best idea would be to sit on him until his trainer was freed from the "scary-looking" armor. All Jaime could do was run a hand over his face until he heard a familiar voice. Why did someone have to witness this? Either way, he offers a sheepish smile.]

Oh, hey, Maka.

[If they stopped meeting like this, Jaime would have no problem with that at all.]

[Maka, that's a terrible response, but at the moment she's more concerned with reassuring Crona that the big blue thing is gone and he can come out of the clearly safe soft that is his (admittedly tiny) trainer's arms. The Munna comes out, though still sticks close to Maka, staring worriedly at Jaime.]

So, uh...would it be out of line to ask what the heck that was or--?

No. I'd probably do the same thing. [Rubs the back of his neck. How to explain this...] That was...my armor. And I guess you could say it malfunctioned and freaked Heracross and Turtwig out at the same time.

[Malfunctioned? More like freaked out and decided the best way to handle the situation was to terminate the Pokemon despite what Jaime said. Sob.]

It's okay, you're the first superhero I've met outside of a comic book, and I know you, so that's known enough for me.

It looked cool, anyway. The superheroes I've seen have capes or wear their underwear on the outside, it looks silly.

Heh, thanks. We have some that wear capes back home, too. Some of them look outdated, but then there are those who make them look really cool.

Ah, well, I'll have to take your word for it. The only ones with any sort of civil duty to citizens in my world is…well, me and the rest of the people associated with the Academy, and I'm sure not going to be putting on any sort of costume any time soon.

[But a school uniform that is clearly Japanese even though she's American and a long coat totally does not count as a costume.]
